Meet Your Trainer
Jenn Smith
Founder of Goodnight Bloom Doula & Postpartum Doula Trainer, Doula University
With over two decades of experience in birthwork, Jenn brings a unique blend of hands-on expertise, professional education, and heartfelt compassion to her postpartum doula trainings.
Jenn began her career as a birth doula in 2004, became a childbirth educator in 2008, and expanded into postpartum care in 2017. As the founder of Goodnight Bloom Doula, she also brings firsthand experience building and leading a professional doula agency, offering students valuable insight into both exceptional family care and creating a fulfilling career in birthwork.
As a Postpartum Doula Trainer with Doula University, Jenn is passionate about mentoring the next generation of doulas. Her teaching approach is warm, engaging, and hands-on, encouraging students to ask questions, build practical skills, and develop the confidence to support growing families.
Jenn believes that well-trained, confident doulas can make a lasting difference in the lives of the families they serve.
